Biography
Attorney Zhou is an insightful lawyer with a steady yet flexible style. He values communication with clients and can precisely grasp the pain points of cases, thereby formulating customized and powerful legal solutions for clients. Before co-founding ALIOTH LAW LLP in the United States, Attorney Zhou worked at the Hong Kong office of Linklaters LLP, one of the top Magic Circle law firms in the UK, and in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley, a top Wall Street investment bank, in Hong Kong. He has been deeply involved in numerous capital market transactions and has profound industry experience and understanding of listing, mergers and acquisitions, and equity transaction-related businesses.
Attorney Zhou never shies away from new challenges and is always eager to hone his skills in areas where clients have pressing needs. After leaving Morgan Stanley, Attorney Zhou keenly perceived the frequent intellectual property litigation issues in cross-border transactions and quickly established his expertise in this field. He has represented dozens of cross-border e-commerce enterprises in dealing with litigation and fund freezing issues they face in federal courts such as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In these litigations, Attorney Zhou excels at employing the flexible business thinking and negotiation skills honed during his investment banking career, combined with his outstanding legal writing abilities, to achieve the maximum interests of his clients.
